Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using VaultEx ("the App"), operated by EAAY Games ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VaultEx, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, do not use or access the App.

2. Description of Service & Zero-Knowledge Architecture

VaultEx is a local-first privacy application designed to encrypt and store files, photos, videos, notes, and contacts locally on your device. We operate under a Zero-Knowledge Architecture, meaning we do not possess your encryption keys, Vault PIN, or master passwords, and we do not store your private contents on our servers.

3. Data Loss, Passwords & User Responsibility

CRITICAL NOTICE REGARDING ENCRYPTION & DATA RECOVERY:

Vault PIN: If you forget your Vault PIN, you may reset it only if you have access to your account password.
Cloud Backup Password: Backups uploaded to your personal cloud (iCloud or Google Drive) are client-side encrypted using AES-256. If you lose or forget your Backup Password, your backup cannot be decrypted or recovered by anyone, including us.
App Deletion / Device Loss: Deleting the App without previously creating an encrypted backup or exporting your files will permanently erase all local data from your device.

You acknowledge and accept sole responsibility for remembering your credentials and safeguarding your data.

4. Market Data, Portfolio Tracker & No Financial Advice

FINANCIAL DISCLAIMER & TRACKING TOOL NOTICE:

The portfolio tracking, currency converter, and cryptocurrency price features within VaultEx are strictly for simulation, virtual bookkeeping, and informational purposes only.

No Real Transactions: The App is not a brokerage, crypto exchange, or trading platform. You cannot buy, sell, deposit, or withdraw real money or cryptocurrency through VaultEx.
Not Financial Advice: Content and market values displayed do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Third-Party Market Data: Market quotes, exchange rates, and crypto pricing are retrieved from third-party public APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, simulated, or inaccurate. We make no guarantees regarding data accuracy, timeliness, or completeness, and accept no liability for any personal decisions or perceived losses based on this data.

5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
Billing, renewals, and refunds are strictly governed by the terms of Apple or Google.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

VaultEx is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EAAY Games shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

Data loss or inability to decrypt files due to forgotten PINs or passwords.
Device loss, theft, hardware malfunction, or operating system resets.
Inaccuracies, errors, or delays in third-party market data or currency rates.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
